A runny egg smooched between two TOMATO BASIL SAVORY WAFFLES gives me all the weekend feels and I’m ready for this FOUR day weekend (I took Tuesday off🤗) to be here already!

TOMATO BASIL WAFFLES:
•1/2 cup plant protein mix
•2 tbsp whole wheat flour
•1/2 cup water
•2.5 tbsp tomato paste
•1.5 tsp salt
•1 tsp basil
•1/2 tsp garlic powder
•1/2 tsp onion powder
•1/4 tsp black pepper
1. Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl, mix until well combined.
2. Cook in your waffle maker according to directions until crispy and delicious!
+you can also use more pancake mix in place of flour, I just think the flour makes it a little fluffier!
+this makes me 4-5 mini waffles
+can probably sub for another pancake mix but i haven’t tried any others!
+you can also try with fresh basil! Just chop it up really small
